iMove!
The purpose of the iMove! Study is to promote physical activity among Latino and African American men and women. We want to learn the reasons why Latinos (English-speaking) and African Americans start and maintain physical activity. Participants will visit the study clinic and receive a health assessment, materials that will assist them in becoming more active, and compensation.
Participants must meet the following criteria:

African American or English-speaking Latino adults

Not regularly engaging in physical activity (< 90 minutes/week over the past 6 months)

25-60 years of age

Working telephone number & address where mail can be delivered

Ready and physically able to start being physically active

Must live in Harris County and City of Houston
The iMove! Study is being led by Dr. Lorna McNeill at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in collaboration with Dr. Rebecca Lee and the Texas Obesity Research Center.
